We are aware that many people are uncomfortable using a non-secure site for purchases. Please be assured that our site is secure. Your credit card information and other information is encrypted from the time it leaves your computer until it gets to ours. As soon as your order is shipped the credit card information is destroyed on our computer. We do retain your email and billing address for our use in sending you information about new products and special offers and sales. When we send you such information, you will be given opportunity to have your name removed from our database. Under no circumstances will we ever sell that database.
Though we respect your concerns about credit card security, we think that much of the hype and publicity is overblown. We've been using credit cards in our computer business for 14 years, purchasing tens of thousands dollars worth of components, and have yet to have a problem.

However, we guarantee that you won't lose a penny through your credit card number being stolen during a transaction with The Avid Aviator. Federal law says that you are liable for up to a maximum of $50 should your card be used fraudulently.We will reimburse you for any liability you have for unauthorized use of your card that came about as a result of a purchase from The Avid Aviator up to the maximum of $50.
